Shanti Athe's 7th month occasion

Here I was at the occasion, .....sorry Muruga Mamma,,,I need to mention Athe's name on the subject and not yours.....( occasion?! not sure if I had interpreted that well in Singlish! ....If one word to get this right...it should be CELEBRATION)... I was told not to take any shots on Athe (to some believe and I do respect the elders thoughts' )...yet..I couldn't help myself to take a few of mine....common...I got dressed up for the occasion...and also,,after so much of nagging from dad before we left home... when I said nagging!...this what I meant...He(my dad), asked me to get into the showers at 930am, powdered, dressed up, got into my shoes...and made me sat down there for 45mins...told me...or should I say.....sorry PAPA.....got to say this....and this was his exact words..."Ashley, SIT here,,,just watch THE TV,,,don't ever get your butt off from this sofa...the minute, if I see you down from this sofa...we are not going for the function" .....

Common guys....is this a military regime?... I heard stories, even in NS,, they get fried chicken and mutton curries from APPOLLO restaurant nowadays!...Gimme a break! what is THIS!...

And here...was (my dad)..then..taking his sweet time ironing his cloths, bathing, LOTS of "perfuming", and the list goes ON and ON....DAD! your'e 36,,,stop acting like a 16!!!!

Whatever....it didn't move me a bit,... knowing... that I looked good and charming as always... so Athe..!..... I know this is your occasion, but I'm taking this away from you (just for this post..SORRY)....and not forgetting,,, ...looking forward to meet my cousin sister soon!!!....I had enough of boys trailing my back)......hehehe...

Our trip to Sentosa... We had a real good time...just sad that it began to rain after 30mins we were at the beach...other than that,,, it was awesome!...

p.s. Non stop boasting from Dad that he saved ~8 bucks by parking his car somewhere on top of Siloso beach hill (other than the common cashcard parking)... Common dad,, stop being kiasu,, and stop trying to be a s'porean...ok...people here do Q for Doughnuts,,, but again,,,you dont have too,,....Common!!!.,,, you do get Appom Balik delivered to home in Taiping...ok..least Larut Tin...from next door...

Got my EAR PIERCIED

At last the BIG day came...all of us or should I say,, "them",, have been talking about this day since I was born...ok...Well.. this is THE day... I was so excited and again a bit nervous...many questions...what is these all about?...why are they making so much of fuss about it?,,,many more...


Of course...I always fancy, looking at my friends and the ones in my same group of age wearing the "real" ear studs! Common...I'm a gal...what do you expect..??


So, came the day, braved myself and I'm all into this...


What else could go wrong,,, especially after what my mum had told me a week before and each every day towards the occasion ( did I say occasion, common guys, this is ritual).....and these were her exact words..." Gal,.. if you want to grow, look good and pretty, you got to go through this"...and YES,,, because I had enough of the scolding and nagging every time I loose my "sticker earring".. Talking about that,,,MUMMY...try wearing those sticker stuffs for a day...I bet all I have in my piggy bank,,,, that, it will come off you within an hour or maybe, you'll get rid of them within 15mins.. now you are laughing!!!



And also, don't laugh too much Dad (you too get agitate, try wearing those sticker stuffs and tell me!!!)...


So, with all the above... here I AM...









COOL...what was all the fuss about?!.. this is really cool...refreshing ice cold solutions applied on my ears...feeling very cold now....












My first right ear...OK...I could still take this...if this is what it takes for me to look pretty,,etc...on about everything my mum had said,,,I'm still cool.."BRING IT ON BABY!"










I'm still good,,,all these guys cheering behind me... just like what my dad used to say..."All the Saints go marching in and they are not alone"...












After 30- 50 seconds after my right ear was pierced,,,Well guys!... it hurts...it really hurts...common why can't they use the "gun" thing...it's 2007!!!, my GGMa has 36 teeth's! Where's the modern medical stuffs...





Thanks Mum,,,, I'll always remember that grip on your arm! ...it's gives me such a comfort and assurance..









This was on my second ear....WOW...or should I say OOOOCCHHHH...just no words...it hurts so much! it really really hurts...I could still be smiling here...well,,, you guys have no idea how much it hurts... Again, it's just being me....being brave, holding my emotions & cries...simply being a Scorpion!










AND here I AM,,,after the ear pierced,,, cheerful as always,,, WOW DO I LOOK GOOD NOW!

So guys,,,sit back and admire my pictures,,, lesson learnt today,,, NO PAIN,,, NOTHING GAINED......

My 5th Birthday

WOW.....I'm so grown! Birthdays are great... just can't get over with it...

My mummy's turn now...she is more concern not to close her eyes on that shoot....and also, see how she wore all the bangles on her right hand,,,wonder it's pre planned for the pose!



What's wrong with these people...common,,, it's my BIRTHDAY! One is more intrested on the cake (lucky he spared my fingers) and the other on the pose!!!



Whatever, i had a good time, thanks guys...for remembering the day...LOVE YOU GUYS ALWAYS!!

Xmas in Taiping

Taiping is indeed a cool place...but again,,,what do you think about my pose...whose the coolest here....?!

My GreatgrandMa, Natasha & Jevan...
I need to say something about my GGMa here...she's the coolest of all my family members!...(10 children, many great grandchildren, (don't ask me the numbers, but one thing I could tell,, very productive!) And she still has the most number of teeth's compared to any of my family members, seriously, she has all the 36..Don't ask me how, question the medical advances..It's amazing!

I've seen "life" size Santa Claus around Orchard Road during the light-up's,,, but hey!..these guys in Taiping has one right at their car porch...are they serious!...Awesome!
